About Our Coast 2 Coast Family

Pat Courtney is the founder and co-owner of Coast 2 Coast Medical. Born and raised in Colorado, Pat served in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years while helping to raise a family. Inspired by family service, three of his six children also joined the military with multiple combat deployments. Now four of those six work alongside Pat and Dawna at Coast 2 Coast Medical, making it a true family/combat veteran-owned small business. In 2002, Pat began working in the medical field providing surgical microscopes and neuro/ spine equipment in the Rocky Mountain region. Through this experience, he developed a deep understanding of healthcare and patient care. During that time, three close friends suffered injuries requiring surgery and later passed away from DVT/PE complications. Those losses became the driving force behind Pat's mission to raise awareness about deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism—conditions that are common yet often underrepresented in patient education and recovery planning. Dawna is a recognized business leader, having owned and run 3 different small businesses throughout her career in the Rocky Mountain region. She is widely recognized as the heart of C2C, helping keep daily operations running seamlessly. Through patient education, hands-on support, and coordination from initial orders through delivery and follow-up, she is dedicated to creating positive patient experiences while building strong, lasting relationships with physician providers.  In 2018, Pat and Dawna relocated to Florida to expand Coast 2 Coast Medical into a nationwide company dedicated to helping veterans and other patients take an active role in their health and recovery. 

Tom, Pat and Dawna's son served in the 75th Ranger Regiment, serving several tours in Afghanistan, where he earned a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts among other awards during his service. After serving his term and then being medically retired from the Army, Tom returned and joined the Coast 2 Coast Medical team, where he is the Co-Owner and VP. His passion for leadership and service began in the Army and has helped lead the growth of Coast 2 Coast, focusing on delivering trusted solutions and exceptional patient support at several VAs facilities we work with, as well as numerous private practices throughout the country. Outside of work, he is a proud husband and father of two sons. He brings the same integrity, discipline, and dedication to his family life that he does to every professional partnership.

Alexxy is one of five daughters of Pat and Dawna, and she is proud to carry on the family values that Coast 2 Coast was built on—integrity, hard work, and treating every client like family. She has been a vital part of the team since 2019 as Director of Operations at Coast 2 Coast. Known as the backbone of the company, she leads day-to-day operations with dedication, compassion, and a strong commitment to both the team and the Patients we serve. With a degree in Business, she brings both professionalism and a personal touch to her role. Outside of work, Alexxy is a devoted wife and mother of two who understands the importance of balancing family, relationships, and career. Her caring nature, leadership, and passion for helping others are reflected in everything she does, making her an invaluable part of the Coast 2 Coast family business.

Lenae is another of Pat and Dawna's daughters who, before joining the team in 2022, proudly served as a U.S. Army medic, including combat service in Iraq, where she earned the Combat Medical Badge (CMB) for her dedication and courage under pressure.

She serves as Midwest Regional Director at Coast 2 Coast and brings leadership, compassion, and a strong commitment to serving both patients and colleagues. Her military background shaped her ability to lead with integrity, stay calm in challenging situations, and always put people first — qualities that continue to guide her work today in the medical sales industry. At Coast 2 Coast, she is passionate about building lasting relationships, supporting healthcare professionals, and helping deliver solutions that make a meaningful impact. 

Jetta, the youngest of Pat and Dawna’s five daughters, joined Coast 2 Coast in 2024 after relocating to Texas with her husband and two daughters and quickly proved herself to be an invaluable asset to the company. Through her dedication, professionalism, and natural leadership abilities, serving as Coast 2 Coast’s Patient Care Coordinator, Jetta is committed to ensuring that every patient and customer receives exceptional service and support creating positive experiences that reflect the company’s commitment to excellence. In addition to her patient care responsibilities, Jetta also plays a vital role as the Southwest Regional Sales Director where she supports sales development and helps strengthen Coast 2 Coast’s presence throughout the Southwest. She embodies the values of hard work, integrity, and family that are at the heart of this company’s culture.
